North Georgia Walk to Emmaus

Serving as a Team Member on a NGWTE Walk

If you are a member of the North Georgia Emmaus Community, or if you have attended an Emmaus-type weekend in another community and now live in the area, you are eligible to serve on a North Georgia Emmaus team. If you would like to serve on an upcoming walk there are several ways to go about it.

• Sign up at a gathering - There are signup sheets at all commmunity gatherings where you can indicate your interest in serving on a team.
  
  
• Indicate your interest by noting it in the database. Connect to the database (you must register if you have not done so before.) Then click on the drop-down menu item that says "Community" and click on "Upcoming Walks". Click on the arrow to the left-most of the Walk that you are interested in serving on. This will let team selection know that you have an interest in serving that particular Walk.
  
  
• Contact the Lay Director of a weekend that you are interested in serving on. - If you follow the instructions above for indicating your interest on the database and Lay Directors have been announced for the Walks you will see the Lay Director's name listed on the line for the Walk. There will also be a mail envelope as the second item on the line. If you click on it you will have the opportunity to send an email to the Lay Director to request being on the team.
  
  
• Send an email to or as appropriate with your request.
